While in Maine, we wanted to see a lighthouse. We were driving around and found this one.
Ok, so it was only advertising the Lighthouse Inn. (FYI--If you live in Maine and can't put the would "Maine-ly" in the title of your business, use "Lighthouse" instead). If confused, see "Maine-ly Boats" Post.
We eventually did find a real Lighthouse--Bass Harbor Head. Here are the steps down to the base of the lighthouse and the coast.

I guess they needed a lighthouse to keep ships from crashing into these rocks.
